Chelsea must sell Drogba for Torres, says Ancelotti

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba needs to leave the club to free up Fernando Torres according to former manager

Chelsea's former manager Carlo Ancelotti has said that the club must sell Didier Drogba to get the best out of Fernando Torres.
Ancelotti, who was sacked by Chelsea in May said: "Didier is like Filippo Inzaghi, he tends to devour whoever is in his way. It is not malice, they are just made like that."
"Take Torres and his [goalscoring] crisis. If you decide to invest so heavily in him you have to sell Drogba."
Chelsea spent a British transfer record sum of £50 million to sign Torres from Liverpool a year ago, but the Spaniard has repaid the investment with only five goals.
Drogba has been the club's best striker this season and his absence for the African Cup of Nations has given Torres a chance to prove himself in the team and in the game against Sunderland on Saturday he showed signs that he is getting back to his best, setting up the goal for Frank Lampard which gave Chelsea ta 1-0 victory.
Drogba has failed to agree to a new one-year contract at Stamford Bridge and looks likely to be leaving the club at the end of the season.
Torres has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the Bridge to PSG but Chelsea are adamant Torres is not for sale.
