Dr. Seuss' The Lorax - 3D

The Lorax, also known as Dr. Seuss' The Lorax is an upcoming 3-D animation based on a children's book of the same name written by Dr. Seuss, first published in 1971.

The film follows the adventure journey of Ted, an idealistic 12-year-old boy who lives in "Thneed-Ville" a city that is completely artificially designed except for its people. He sets out to find the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of Audrey, the girl of his dreams who wishes to see a real tree. While attempting to find a seed, he meets the reclusive Once-ler and discovers the story of the Lorax, a grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world

It is directed by Chris Renaud starring Danny DeVito as The Lorax, Zac Efron as Ted, Taylor Swift as Audrey (Ted's love interest) and Ed Helms as The Once-ler. Scheduled to be released on March 2, 2012 by Universal Pictures.
