IT trends evolving in 2012

InformationWeek found that roughly 18 percent of businesses will increase their IT budgets in 2012, while 28 percent plan to spend the same amount.  Around 33 percent of businesses have now deployed the technology since this last year.

Unified communications adoption is up. It is gaining awareness at a consistent pace. One third of the companies have deployed this technology. 

Unified communications gives organizations the ability to increase their presence, as well as improve their collaboration and mobile interaction capabilities. According to IT Business Edge, roughly 67 percent of businesses that deploy unified communications will experience an increase in productivity and problem resolution with remote workers.
