PARAGLIDER'S CRASH

A paraglider during his take-off got stuck in trees  at Frocester Hill, near Stroud in Gloucestershire. , just before 10 am.
The man had been freed from the branches uninjured by the time firefighters arrived at the scene.

The rescue service spokesman said :
''One fire engine from Stroud and one from Nailsworth attended with a total of 11 firefighters. Once in attendance they found the gentleman had fortunately been freed before they arrived and was not injured.''

This is the second time in recent weeks that the emergency services have been called out to a paraglider.
