Sangakkara's century led Sri Lanka to victory

Sachithra Senanayake hit the winning six
Kumar Sangakkara's century helped Sri Lanka to a thrilling two-wicket win over South Africa with a ball to spare in the fifth and final one-day international in Johannesburg, but South Africa still clinched the series having won first three matches.
SriLanka chased a target of over 300 runs for their second consecutive time before Graeme Smith (125) and AB de Villiers (125 not out), who added 186 in 28 overs for the third wicket, piled up 312 runs for the 4th wicket.
Openers Tharanga (46) and Dilshan (41) fired the visitors to 72 runs in the 10th over before Thirimanne (69) joined Sangakara for the 4th wicket partnership of 100 runs. Sri Lanka were on top but after Sangakara, having reached his hundred off 96 deliveries, fell to Duminy on 275 runs the Sri Lankans collapsed to 308-8.
Thirimanne, who provided a desparate company to his senior partner to make his maiden ODI fifty, fell for the 8th wicket off the third ball of the last over but Senanayake heaved a huge six off the penultimate ball reaching the target in style.
