Skillful Ajmal makes it Pakistans day

Saeed Ajmal celebrates the final wicket of Anderson

Off spinner Saeed Ajmal took seven wickets as England collapsed to 192 runs in opening day of the first Test in Dubai.
Ajmal, without any assistance from the pitch, mixed the Doosras in his world class spin to disguise English batsmen and claim seven wickets for the first time in his Pakistan carrer.
Mohammad Hafeez, introduced in the sixth over, dismissed Alastair Cook in his first over as   Cook edged to the wicketkeeper. Paceman Aizaz Cheema accounted for Trott in his 2nd spell of just two overs.
Pakistan was playing with 3 spinners and that proved good for the tourists as only one wicket was claimed by a fast bowler.
Ajmal unveiled his new mystery ball, the teesra, in the afternoon session but his every ball proved a mystery ball to England.
After ten deliveries being introduced into the attack  he took three quick wickets. Andrew Strauss and was embarrassingly bowled by Ajmal before Kevin Pietersen, Ian Bell and Eoin Morgan and three tail enders were all undone by Ajmal’s exceptional skill. Bell edged to the keeper while all other victims were trapped lbw.
Prior (70 not-out) with the help of Swann (34) extended the score but Spinner Abdur Rehman brilliantly bowled out Swann.
Pakistan started their innings in good form reaching 40 runs with no loss. England will need a big first session on day two if they are to save this opening game.
