Tottenham go level with Man Utd

Benoit Assou-Ekotto celebrates scoring for Spurs

Tottenham Hotspurs moved level on points with Manchester United with victory over Everton at White Hart Lane.
Aaron Lennon put Tottenham side in front 10 minutes before the half-time, hitting a left footed shot from the right side of the box to the bottom right corner, following a pass from Benoit Assou-Ekotto.
Fine strike from Assou-Ekotto doubled the lead when he fired in from long-range via a slight deflection as Tottenham moved to within three points of Barclays Premier League leaders Manchester City.
Tottenham manager, Henry Redknapp was pleased with the victory.
He said, "I think the pressure's on Man City. You look at the money they've been able to spend – they're going to be expected to be there, certainly them or Man United. We're just hanging in there, keeping the players bright, keeping players enjoying it, making sure we don't leave it all on the training ground.
"We're playing with smiles on our faces. At the moment we can enjoy it. When you're struggling at the bottom that's pressure."
