Australia crushes India to go on top

David Warner hot some sweet shots during his innings of 43
Australia crushed India with a victory of 110 runs gaining a bonous point to return to the top of the Commonwealth Bank Series table.
Australia's 5 for 288 proved too much for India as Ben Hilfenhaus 5-33) and Brett Lee (3-49) dismanteled Indian batting order. The visitors never recovered from losing early wickets (4 for 36), though Dhoni's 56 had provided a hope which faded after some time as India were eventually bowled out for 178.
Australian batsmen were also amazing with bat as openers David Warner (43) Matthew Wade (45) gave Australia a good start and after Ricky Ponting got dismissed for 7, Mike Hussey and Peter Forrest both scored half-centuries with a century partnership before last contributions from Christian and David Hussey with a stand of 65 in the final six overs helped the hosts to 288-5
Australia's win takes them to 14 points, while India remain in second on 10, with Sri Lanka on seven.Score Card
