Designing the ultimate in winter bling

Osamu Koyama who lives in New York has crafted snowboard boots made of gold.The boots were made for Nike and are customised with a combination of both brass and gold plating. They cost thousands of pounds to manufacture. Mr. Koyama designed this footwear for the customer Nike boots project. He first made wax models. The final model is with Nike at the moment and he hopes the shoe giant will buy from him.

The golden boots, which have been named Nike Zoom Force 1, feature an eagle beak as well as feathers and an opal pendant at the boot's front.
