Keven Pietersen hit an unbeaten 111 runs as England successfully chased a target of 223 runs to take a 3-0 lead in the ODI series in Dubai.
England openers Alastair Cook (80) and Pietersen shared a record opening stand as England reached the target with 12 overs to spare. Pitersen fired 111 from just 98 balls hitting ten 4s and two 6s while Cook missed his 3rd consecutive century falling prey to Saeed Ajmal after hitting nine 4s and a 6.
England was once again amazing with bowl as Pakistan batsmen seemd not having any clue about playing tall bowlers Steven Finn and Stuart Broad.
Finn and Broad busted through Pakistan's top batting order as both claimed three wickets while James Anderson also managed two wickets.
Half centuries scored by Umar Akmal and Shahid Afridi had givin Pakistan a chance as they had recoved to 222 from 97 for 5 but Cook and Pietersen hunted down a target of 223 with ease reaching 149-0, only 74 short of victory with half their overs remaining.
