Facebook grandma, Lillian Lowe, dies at 104

Facebook centenarian, Lillian Lowe, has died at the age of 104 following a short illness. Lowe attracted worldwide attention for her use of the social networking site at an age of 103. 


Mrs Lowe kept a very short list of friends - 42 in total - most of them family. A retired businesswoman and hotelier, she would have been 105 this month. 


She found Facebook very "exciting" but was "sure there are lots of other things I should be doing rather than playing on a computer."
