Cuban ex-President Fidel Castro launches 1000-page long memoirs.
The book, Guerrilla of Time, comes in two volumes and relates the president's lifelong experiences based on conversations between him and journalist Katiuska Blanco.
The launch, at the Havana Convention Centre, was attended by Culture Minister Abel Prieto and Director of the Cuban Writers' Union Miguel Barnet and lasted more than six hours.
Barnet referred to the memoirs "as a 3D film".
The president last made a public appearance in April 2011 at the closing session of the Communist Party Congress.
