The morning scene is abnormally normal for you. Late night, waking late, feeling groggy, running behind every schedule. So then, skipping breakfast is your natural ire!?
The point of breakfast is twofold. First, it replenishes the calories you have burned and eliminates the hunger you have built up overnight, when you haven't eaten for eight hours. You're literally breaking a fast.
Secondly, it keeps you satiated until lunch, your next big meal. Here are three ways to beacon you.
1. Don't eat breakfast until you actually feel like you need it. Just listen to what your body is telling you.
2. Go with something simple and light. This can be either high fiber- oat meal, whole grain, cereal, whole grain toast, or a small fruit shake with fiber supplement. Or a high protein two egg white omelette.
The main thing is, avoid embellishments. If you go with high fiber it is ok and nice to add a few nuts or dried fruits . If you go with eggs, try adding some cayenne or other spicy red pepper . The heat in these come from capsaicin, which triggers the release of CCK - the chemical that closes your stomach's gates. You'll feel fuller all morning.
3. Tea drinkers can drink up as they wish. But coffee drinkers drink black or with a little skim. And use little sugar and cream which can add upwards of five hundred calories .
