WERE STUDENTS TO LEAD, ALL LEADERS, WILL ONLY FOLLOW!!

There never will be any progress without Students just as there will be no peace without students! This is the true vision of the future. Ignored at a great peril and great destruction. There is a total decline in global unity! We only know how to disagree. How to fight. And how to hurt each other. This is turning into a world of shame!!?? This therefore is not only a tragedy in itself but is also fueling other problems. Today's principal threats are abstract and mobile. Prospects for any solution look as solid as a snowball in a microwave. The vision and objective now is "How to get back on top and win future".

  Just two days ago, one reputed Islamabad University, rose above the "Babu Raj Mode" to imagine ways of serving the country. Starting this summer vacation, students will execute a program of teaching in far flung areas. They were gracious to inform us. We wish them the best! And remember that nothing is or can be more expensive than not to think through on these vital issues strategically. Prof of Cambridge, and Nobel laureate Amrita Sen got right to the heart of the matter: "Progess is more plausibly judged by the reduction of deprivation than by the further enrichment of the opulent" Think as you may!!!?

And, and, no one could sum up this headline better than the great American journalist, Bill Moyers, "my greatest fear is lest democracy proves to be Potemkin village and gross inequality becomes our permanent way of life."
