The only thing we can do about our past - about what has already happened but maybe - just  quickly understand it only. But we can do something about the future and what might happen. Every single one of us should be focused on this. And we all should sincerely develop the ability to interpret the direction, meaning, pace and the importance of what's happening.

One should learn to understand the difference between an event and a trend. Not everything that's happening is new, nor does it necessarily equate with change. Somethings are merely occasions , passing puffs in the infinity of time. But, SAM Daily Times is genuinely transformational in content , sustainability and likelihood. That is why SAM founders -students from every discipline- were encouraged to think imaginatively and  aggressively and smash the required routines, and to circumvent the conventional systems over which they festered.

To think originally, and ever ask why not, how else right on to any abstract level. They now fathom abstract ideas, practice democracy, differ, debate, devise, surprise and never give up. They have come out of their comfort zone to find out what they are made of. They think that Student Angel Mother helped them to do that.Yes, it took them close to two years. That may be so but what is deeply satisfying is that the founders now plan to teach it to others. All over the world where it maybe needed. They have the tools to do it to any level they wish. So what great honour than that!! Try joining their group once a week. Amazing knowledge flows! We all now understand that maturity is much more than mere realism. It is also the passionate optimism that will endure and overcome the hurdles along the way.

The SAMURAI huddle well beyond Facebook, discussing mastery of interface design, looking at XML, Twitter. They have mastered cross functional work as a blood sport. They worry about obsolescence. Over all these years they allowed nothing to get them down. It was so easy to love them as they turned from honour to honours! SAM learnt from them as they set out to seek the fault lines. Making virtue out of necessity. So as they debate SAM's departure, heart wrenching emotional scenes are likely to rule the roost. But Student Angel Mother belong to the students of the world, and they know that they will respect  that.

In a world where hate is on the rise , the SAMURAI were a class of their own. They live a life they imagined!  What greater accomplishment could beat that! Pakistan has few heroes of their class. God Bless and Good Night!
