Saving the personal data from others when your smart phone or iPad is
in their hands is quite a headache. You can’t stop them from accessing
the secret folders all the time. And sometimes you’re away when your
device is approached. Passwords are the solution to this problem but
typing long pass codes can be little problematic at times.
Nasir Memon has come up with a novel way locking your iPhone and iPad, the biometric password. Your hand gesture and signature will lock and unlock your iDevice.
Mr. Memon is a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and director of the Information Systems and Internet Security (ISIS) laboratory at NYU-Poly.
