Twitter Kim Jong Un Rumours

Twitter and its Chinese equivalent, Weibo, were today fluttered with rumours that the young supreme leader of the world's last Stalinist state, Kim Jong-un had been murdered while on a visit to the North Korean embassy in Beijing.

Other reports claim that even if Mr Kim, thought to be in his twenties, was not dead then some sort of coup was being mounted against him.

His relative youth and lack of military experience gave added potency to the claim that the country's grizzled generals may have moved to sweep him from power.The rumours appeared to centre around an unusual flurry of activity at the North Korean embassy in the Chinese capital.
