Vrooman Memorial Scholarship Trust Fund Introduced at BUET

Architect Wajeda J. Rab and Architect Tanwir Nawaz, Donor Representatives of Prof. Richard Edwin Vrooman, former first Dean of Faculty of Architecture and Planning, BUET handed over cheque of US$ 10,000 and Tk. BDT- 50,000/- to Prof. Dr. S. M. Nazrul Islam, Vice-Chancellor, BUET on Wednesday (25th January, 2012) at the Vice-Chancellor’s office to establish a scholarship trust fund named ‘Vrooman Memorial Scholarship Trust Fund’ to award scholarship to the meritorious students of Architecture Dept., BUET.



Among others: Prof. Dr. M. Habibur Rahman, Pro Vice-Chancellor, BUET, Registrar, Prof. Dr. Abu Siddique, Head of the Dept. of Architecture, Prof. Dr. Zebun Nasreen Ahmed, Comptroller, Mr. M. Jasimuddin Akond FCMA, President Institute of Architects Bangladesh (AIB), Architect Mubasshar Hussain and Architect K. Shahid Rab, Ph. D. were also present on the occasion.
