Princess 'Charlotte Casiraghi' Named New Face of Gucci

Princess of Monaco and daughter of Caroline of Monaco, Charlotte Casiraghi (Charlotte Marie Pomeline Casiraghi ), aged 25 (3 August 1986), will be the new face of Gucci. Rumors were emerging during the third day of the Paris Fashion Week (February 28 - March 7) and the choice was finally confirmed by the Italian house to fashion publication Elle.fr.

Charlotte (Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace in Monte Carlo, Monaco) is the second child of Caroline, Princess of Hanover, Hereditary Princess of Monaco, and the late Stefano Casiraghi, an Italian industrialist. She is fourth in line to the throne of Monaco. Her maternal grandparents were the late Prince Rainier and the late Princess Grace of Monaco. She is named after her paternal great-grandmother, Princess Charlotte, Duchess of Valentinois.

Charlotte follows in the footsteps of Evan Rachel Wood and Natasha Poly, who have also represented the fashion brand.

A young equestrian show jumper, she has been called a natural choice for the brand since she has attended several editions of the Gucci Masters -- including the last edition (December 3-5, 2011) where she competed in the International Jumping Competition.
