Captain Steven Gerrard scored his second Premier League hat-trick to earn Liverpool a 3-0 victory over Everton.
Gerrared grabbed the opener after 34 minutes showing wonderful technique as he chiped the ball in the untended goal as the goalkeeper had came off his line.
Few minutes after the break the midfielder doubled the lead when Henderson won possession in midfield and then poked a smart pass through to Suarez, who sidesteps past the hitherto excellent Distin and, as he shapes to shoot, Gerrard comes surging in to take the shot himself - and smash it into the net from eight yards.
Gerrard completed his hat-trick on 3 minutes into the injury time, when Suarez, who could have gone for goal himself, wrongfotted the defender put the ball back into the path of Gerrard, who slotted into the net from 12 yards
After the match Gerrard warned his team-mates they need to kick-on for the rest of the season.
"We're going from one extreme to another at the moment. We need to find a level of consistency where we go on a winning streak, rather than win one and lose one, because otherwise we find ourselves in a position in the league that we don't want."
