University of Birmingham ranked in top 10 universities for producing millionaires


Research by investment firm Skandia, highlights that 2.7% of the UK's millionaires went to the University of Birmingham. We are 7th in the UK in terms of producing millionaires.

The independent survey of 549 millionaires and multi-millionaires, which recently featured in The Telegraph, also revealed that 65% of those interviewed went to university, with a third qualifying with a Mastes degree. The survey also highlights that 71% of UK-based millionaires attended state school.

Both University of Birmingham and Aston University are featured in the list; placing two West Midlands universities in the top 10. Others on the list include Oxford, Cambridge, St Andrews, Imperial, Manchester and Bristol.
