Driverless Cars Are A Safe Bet To Prevent Future Road Accidents




As the world population is growing, especially in the developed countries, there is an increasing to bring about the system to prevent as many people from road accidents as possible. According to a stat from World Health Organization (WHO) 3500 people die on daily bases due to traffic accidents on deadly intersections.
We have let you about some of the idea that emphasize on this matter such as MIT’s algorithm and a systematic idea from Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Systems and Device Technology.
Peter Stone, a Computer Science professor at University of Texas, has come with an idea to foresee the future of driverless cars that can be controlled efficiently to prevent accidents.
His computer program controls each vehicle as it navigates the intersection. Mr. Stone admits that even the technology exists it will take years from now to implement his idea.
