Amir Khan-Lamont Peterson fight to be decided in next 48 hours

The decision on whether the Amir Khan-Lamont Peterson fight is going ahead will be taken in the next 48 hours by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

The light-welterweight rematch between Khan and Peterson is in doubt after the American tested positive for synthetic testosterone.
Peterson is presenting paperwork to the NSAC on Tuesday afternoon - late into our night - explaining his side of what has happened to the commission.
Boxing promoter Richard Schaefer outlined the details on Tuesday afternoon to journalists on a conference call.
However, Khan is not speaking on the subject until the commission has given its ruling either on Wednesday or Thursday.
The fighters are due to meet again in the ring on May 19.
