Father leaps from wheel to save child

A man jumps from the driver's seat of a car to run to the aid of his four year-old daughter who had fallen out of the car onto a busy junction in Wenzhou city in China's southeastern Zhejiang province

The child falls into the path of a taxi following behind which manages to pull up just in time. The panicked father leaps out of his car, which careers off the road and into a nearby tree.

A police officer who witnessed the incident said: "I heard the taxi braked suddenly. Then I saw a child fell out on the ground.""A second later, I saw a car without driver inside hit the tree. I rushed there. It turned out that the child climbed from the back of the seat to the front while her father was driving and accidentally opened the door," Chen Shu added..
