Paws up, little monsters! Lady Gaga's social network is now open to all. Launched as an invite-only beta earlier this year, LittleMonsters.com is a fan site built by community creation platform Backplane, in which Lady Gaga is a major investor.
Users can post their favorite images of Mother Monster and stay abreast of the pop sensation's latest news. Gaga, herself the most-followed person on Twitter and one of the most popular celebrities on Facebook, can also interact directly with her fans on the site.
New users can set up a profile by opening a new account with the site or sign in with a Facebook or Twitter account, which will automatically update the biographical data and interests listed on the existing profile. Users can also invite friends from Facebook and Twitter to sign up for LitterMonsters.com.
Users can also post personal updates, send and receive private messages, enter live chat rooms, start and participate in discussion threads (currently open topics include threads about Gaga, bullying support and LGBT), keep tabs on and purchase tickets for upcoming events and track Lady Gaga in the news.
Check out the gallery (below) for an overview of how to set up your own profile and get started on LittleMonsters.com. Citing a leading tweet from Backplane CEO Matt Michelson, The Next Web hints that a mobile app is in the works, too, so be on the lookout for that "soon."
