Facebook
is now the world’s most valuable brand beating its competitors Apple and Google
according to research firm General Sentiment. Facebook was first started by
some college students in a room about 8 years ago, and now when it added to the
ranking list it simply shot straight to the top. The study quantified the value of big
brands' exposure by analyzing "the sentiment, frequency and exposure of
news mentions and social dialogue,”
But now it is predicted that
the Facebook’s top position in the ranking may not last as its brand exposure
is on the decline while number-two Apple's brand exposure is growing, according
to General Sentiment's report.
