Unseen Beatles footage hits the web

Exclusive footage of The Beatles eating fish and chips has appeared online. The video may not be a live recording of one of their hit songs, but for die hard fans it’s a welcomed insight into the daily lives of the record breaking group.
The shots were recorded while The Beatles were filming the Magical Mystery Tour movie in 1967. The material emerged during the making of BBC Two’s new documentary about the film and its "artistic merit and cultural significance," the BBC reports.
The video features John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starron, on their way to the final destination of the Magical Mystery Tour.  The footage was posted on The Space arts website.
The video sees the legendary four taking a break from shooting and grabbing a bite to eat.
"It captures perfectly the fabulous world of The Beatles at this time,” Arena editor Anthony Wall told BBC. “They're happily rubbing shoulders and sharing a simple meal with the other passengers on the coach, and at the same time creating an extraordinarily avant garde film, which of course would soon be broadcast by the BBC to a dumbstruck nation."
The original film wasn’t successful and was poorly received by both the audience and the critics. The BBC’s documentary about it titled Arena: The Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour will bring back the shots that haven’t been screened in more than 30 years.
