Gold hot pants, a hooded white jumpsuit and Dolce & Gabbana galore - Kylie Minogue has treated us to a hoard of iconic fashion moments during her illustrious music career. So we're understandably delighted to hear that the pint-sized popstrel is set to release book celebrating the key fashion moments from her 25 years in the biz.
'Kylie/Fashion', a glossy coffee table tome, has been curated by Kylie's long-time creative director, William Baker, and features an introduction written by none other than Jean Paul Gaultier, who has dressed the 44-year-old on many occasions. More of her designer besties, including the Dolce & Gabbana boys, Christopher Kane, Giles Deacon, Christian Louboutin and Stella McCartney have also been called upon to comment on the Australian's style.
'This book charts my relationship with some of the most talented people in fashion throughout my career,' says Ms Minogue. 'It makes me very proud to see gathered together all the great designers and houses I've worked with over the years. Looking through my personal archives has been a real trip down memory lane and it is the fashion that brings back moments and memories of the last twenty-five years.'
Indeed, Grazia Daily has had quite the trip sifting through our own Kylie archive to uncover some truly eye-popping snaps. From those heady days in Neighbours alongside Jason Donovan to her perm-tastic 'I Should Be So Lucky' video to the many times she's flashed her pert derriere in a glitzy gown, Kylie's been on quite the sartorial ride. Her on-stage wardrobes have been as equally spellbinding including the Dolce & Gabbana outfits she wore for her 2011 'Aphrodite' tour to the frothy Showgirl creations she donned in 2006 when returning to the stage for the first time after recovering from cancer.
Kylie/Fashion is part of the singer's 'K25' anniversary celebrations so let's get the party started by hitting play on Can't Get You Out Of My Head and taking a trip down memory lane via the gallery above.
