REFURBISHED : ''WHERE ARE THE MICROFINANCE BANKS?''

I had always been under the impression that ''Refurbished'' electronic goods were defective models, which had been repaired, or had failed Quality criteria, but that's just not the case: they are returned goods, or exdisplay stock, which have been checked over, reboxed, reissued by the original manufacturer
.''Refurbished just means: 'not used'.

The goods are cheaper but they are not second-hand, an they are covered by the same warranties as the new products
Also and very importantly, they are available for the same warranty extensions.

I for one know that 'extended warranties' are spawn of ''Satan'' and I would never buy one for anything else -but I would, and I do, when it comes to Laptops.

Most Computer companies sell guaranteed refurbished products: Apple do, so do IBM, and so do Dell.
Remember, that the points about warranty and extension are worth double-checking at the moment of Purchase, if you go down the refurbished route.

The cost reduction are very significant in these very uneasy times, all because someone opened the box and decided they wanted different colour, or because they were given two of the same model at Christmas. Also, strangely, the defect rate on refurbished models is said to be lower than that of new stock because its given an extra check after being sent back, before being reboxed and resold.

Cheaper, more reliable -WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE?

In the 'Developing World' the Microfinance Banks splatter about boasting and bickering.
How could they not tap this need and market? Whats more important than leveraging students?
What's more important for stability, harmony and SHOW STOPPERS!

Many thanks to !WOW!

Good Night & God Bless!
