Man City 2 - 2 Ajax, Real Madrid 2-2 Dortmund

Man City 2 - 2 Ajax

Manchester City FC fought back from two goals down to earn a draw with AFC Ajax yet they still stand on the brink of an early UEFA Champions League exit for the second year running.
Ajax took control with two Siem de Jong goals inside the first 17 minutes but City gained a lifeline through Yaya Touré's 22nd-minute strike and Sergio Agüero secured them a point with 16 minutes remaining.

Real Madrid 2-2 Dortmund

Mesut Özil struck an 89th-minute free-kick to rescue Real Madrid CF from a second successive defeat by Borussia Dortmund, a result that leaves the UEFA Champions League Group D standings delicately poised.
The German champions appeared on course for a famous win at the Santiago Bernabéu after a fearless display had earned them a 2-1 interval lead – Marco Reus's strike and an Álvaro Arbeloa own goal coming either side of a Pepe header. With the clock ticking down, however, Özil's set piece outwitted goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller who allowed the ball to bounce in at his left-hand post. The draw keeps leaders Dortmund a point clear of Madrid in Group D.

Schalke 2 - 2 Arsenal
FC Schalke 04 retained their hold on top spot in Group B after coming back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at home to Arsenal FC.
Vanquished in London on matchday three, the visitors looked set to redress the balance after Theo Walcott's 18th-minute opener was reinforced by Olivier Giroud's maiden UEFA Champions League goal eight minutes later. However, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar's fourth strike of the group stage gave the hosts hope in first-half added time and Jefferson Farfán deservedly levelled midway through the second period.

PSG 4 - 0 Dinamo Zagreb
The Paris Saint-Germain and GNK Dinamo Zagreb players were united in their praise of Zlatan Ibrahimović after the Sweden international set up all four goals to help take the French club to the verge of the last 16. Blaise Matuidi, who, like Guillaume Hoarau, registered his first UEFA Champions League strike, described the 31-year-old as "immense", while Croatian defender Josip Šimunić called him "really top class", adding: "We did everything we could but it wasn’t enough."
