New device could allow your heartbeat to power pacemaker

Now it is possible of  powering a pacemaker with energy from a beating heart. An energy-harvesting device that works with electrical charge generated from motion could provide enough electricity to power a pacemaker. The prototype is currently being tested and could mean the end of battery operated pacemakers.
