Students from across Niagara are stepping up and speaking out to add their voice to the chorus in the ongoing labour dispute between teachers and the province.
High school students at schools across Niagara including Laura Secord, West Park, Stanford Collegiate, Sir Winston Churchill, South Lincoln, St. Catharines Collegiate, Westlane and A.N. Myers staged protests Monday morning, showing their frustration at having their school year disrupted by teacher job action.
Oakridge Public School Grade 8 student Hannah says "we're telling the government the union and the teachers to leave us out of it".
DSBN schools in Niagara will be hit by rotating strikes Tuesday.
