School for children orphaned by AIDS

There is a very special school for the children orphaned by AIDS in the outskirts of Fuyang, Anhui province. Life may be harsh on them but here they are given special love and care.

Among eight children in this orphanage, five are infected with AIDS. The youngest is barely five. Zhang Yanfeng, the headmistress of this orphanage, is like a mother figure to the children here. The orphanage provides the children with same courses and extra-curricular activities, just as in any ordinary school. In here, far from the judgemental outside world, the children get along well with each other.
