TRICK OR TREATMENT! There's a whole casebook of alternative health therapies, on offer, claiming to cure all manner of ills. Time to tell and highlight the, Bogus.

Homeopathy does not work! There have been more than 200 clinical trials testing Homeopathy, and the overall conclusion is that ''Homeopathy'' is a bogus therapy for every condition. Perhaps this should not be a surprise when you know that homeopathy remedies are highly diluted, so much so that they do not contain any active ingredient. You are better off spending your money and time on something that genuinely works.

Magnet therapy also does not work. It seems to make sense  -our blood contains iron, iron is magnetic, so magnets should somehow enhance blood flow. Codswallop. The iron in blood is wrapped up in haemoglobin molecules, with a structure that they will not respond to a simple magnet. Magnet bracelets sold to treat arthritis are cheap, useless and harmless, but at the other end of the scale, magnetic mattresses to treat cancer are expensive, useless and exploitative.

Evening Primrose oil also does not work. Lots of people swear by it, but here is not a jot of significant to back up the use of evening primrose oil. The use of many so-called herbal remedies is similarly unjustified, and many of them carry the risk of side effects. Lavender oil, for instance, can mimic some hormones and there are cases of it leading to swollen breast tissue.

And on the other hand there are a few medicines and therapies that do work. We shall publish them in the near future.
