Sachin Tendulkar retires from IPL

India's scorer machine and world's legend Sachin Tendulkar says good bye to IPL after the final of IPL 2013. Tendulkar announced his retirement from IPL and Twenty20 cricket shortly after Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by 23 runs at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on May 26, 2013 to win the Pepsi 2013 Indian Premier League. He announced his retirement from Indian Premier League (IPL) saying " This is my last IPL. This has been a fantastic season. I think this is the right time to stop playing the IPL. I am 40. Got to accept it. This is the best point to say thank you very much to all the supporters and well-wishers".

Tendulkar is world's leading scorer in both Test matches and One day internationals with an unexampled 100  centuries in all the cricket formats.
