Tour de France 2013: Chris Froome in yellow after stage win

Britain's Chris Froome produced a sensational ride to emphatically win stage eight of the Tour de France and take the leader's yellow jersey.
Movistar rider Nairo Quintana led the first proper mountain stage until the final climb, when Froome, 28, made his move to win by 51 seconds. Froome's Team Sky team-mate Richie Porte crossed the line second.
South African Daryl Impey started the day in the yellow jersey but dropped off the pace early on in the stage.
Two-time runner-up Alberto Contador was over a minute behind Froome.
Froome, who finished second overall to Bradley Wiggins in last year's Tour de France, said: "I couldn't be happier.
"It has been a nervous week leading up to now but my team has done a fantastic job and to repay my team-mates with a stage win and Richie coming second, I couldn't have asked for more".
"It's a dream come true so far. We were put under pressure. This is only the first week, so there is two weeks of hard racing to come but now we've got the yellow jersey we've got to defend it. I really couldn't have asked for much more."
