Brussels, September 27 - Italy needs political stability, not further threats to sink the government, Education Minister Maria Chiara Carrozza said Friday. Speaking outside a meeting of the European Union's council on competitiveness, Carrozza said she is worried for the country's future as it once again faces threats against government stability. "The news coming is not encouraging, but I hope they are only threats," said Carrozza, a member of Premier Enrico Letta's centre-left Democratic Party (PD).
"We need stability and constructive, democratic debate".
