New Girl Cast Reveals Their Favorite Episodes and Some of Their Picks Might Surprise You—Watch!

We feel the exact same way, Zooey Deschanel, which means we are basically best friends now! Oh, sorry, you guys aren't part of our inside joke, but Deschanel, of course, was referring to the fact that there are "a lot of really good" episodes of New Girl, which makes it pretty darn hard to pick a favorite.

But that's exactly what the Fox hit sitcom's cast and creator, Liz Meriwether, do in the exclusive video below, and some of the their answers may surprise you!While we thought Max Greenfield might choose a crazy Schmidt episode (or maybe an ep that featured everyone's favorite Schmidt: Fat Schmidt!), he actually picked an episode all about containing the Schmidt. "'Longest Night Ever' because Zooey and I had a good time on it," he revealed. "The idea that she had to contain Schmidt in the loft and not let him out and all the different ways she tried to entertain him or keep him from moving was really fun."

Hannah Simone selected "Dance" as her standout "because Jess and Cece got to solve a crime! It was super exciting," while Lamorne Morris and Damon Wayans Jr. actually have the same favorite episode.
