Fish-eating spiders discovered by scientists

Spiders that can capture and eat fish have been discovered by scientists at the fringes of shallow fresh water.

The study by a Swiss-Australian team appeared in the academic journal Plos One.

 It revealed that the amphibious creatures, more commonly found in warmer areas, can often swim and walk on the water's surface and are able to kill fish bigger and more powerful than themselves.
