Lenovo Group Ltd. has unveiled a smartphone that uses Google's Project Tango to see and map out its surroundings.
Project Tango gives the capability to understand space and motion which can be used to develop gaming and utility apps.
Project Tango integrates computer vision, image processing, and vision sensors enabling the superimposition of information and digital images onto displays of the real world.
The Chinese consumer electronics maker says to sell the phone in the summer for less than $500.
