!WWW WO !WOW!- FACEBOOK '''

*MARK MY WORDS*  THAT  WITH SOME HARD WORK, and  with some tiny original thinking,  -in the next 7 years or so-

!WOW!  -the World Students Society-, Sam Daily Times ''The Voice of the Voiceless,''  and Twitter !E-WOW!  -the Ecosystem 2011:

*Could most easily overtake both, Facebook and  Snapchat  on many, and maybe, every measure. All the  while growing  to be   the greatest organization, Mankind and Students have ever conceived.

I often get asked, by great students, professors, and  teachers, and some very fair original thinkers like  Scientist, Engineer Professor  Munaawer, the master of computer sciences/US, Engineer Imran Basit /   LUMS/ MS/ China, Engineer and businessman Shahid Shakoor-

And   Dr.Engineer  Imran Bokhari/ Imperial  College  of  Sciences,UK,   Mechanical Engineer, Saleem Khan Kasuria,   about   *operational impediments* on  the World students Society and  on Twitter-!Ecosystem! 2011:

Organic [student]  intellectuals, according to Italian Marxist theorist and politician   Antonio Francesco Gramsci,  were connected to classes that used them to organise  interests gain more power and control.

Public opinion, the World Over, and also here in Proud Pakistan is controlled by these  organic intellectuals  who are actually senior journalists, writes one master researcher,.... and column writers of  Urdu and English newspapers and TV anchors.

One can observe these  organic intellectuals  appearing on mainstream media to debate politics, economics, religion, education, and social issues of Pakistan.

Antonio Francesco Gramsci believed that  organic intellectuals  are actively involved in society, that is they constantly struggle to change minds to develop certain  opinion about politics, economic and social issues of the society.

In media industry, the production and distribution of information  is being controlled by these media personnel and they are  presented by [themselves]  media outlets as intellectuals.

These organic intellectuals are either political or defense analysts and have become public opinion leaders. More or less, the same analysts are appearing on all news channels in the day-to-day transmissions and then publishing in newspapers.

Professors, teachers of private varsities  have less representation on TV channels as public opinion leaders, therefore, who are specialists in particular subjects are not popular and are not considered reliable.

However, media personalities are considered reliable and authentic, adds Akmal Soomro.

Since organic intellectuals are opinion leaders, so every and all ruling parties consider them an important organ of the society and have started to invest in them heavily.

These visible and invisible investments vary from intellectual to intellectual. However, the main target remains constant and that is to ensure a favourable opinion of public mind through them.

Every ruling class is the main beneficiary of this state of intellectuals which helps them strengthen their stranglehold on power.

Edward Said, Julian Benda  and Gramsci present  teachers and students as traditional intellectuals who are not influential in comparison to organic intellectuals.

French philosopher  Michel Foucault says the so called universal intellectual has had his or her place taken by the  ''specific''  intellectual, someone who owns or works inside a discipline but is able to use his expertise anyway.

Foucault also says there has been no revolution in modern history without intellectuals; conversely there has been no major counter revolutionary movement without intellectuals.

What and how ,then how, all these happening in America?  Welcome to Facebook, Snapchat and !WOW!

Evan Spiegel of  Snapchat could become the world's youngest billionaire by all and every measure.

How much control do the founders have?
Snapchat's flotation is unusual. The company is not selling voting shares, so the founders will controversially keep control of the firm even after raising public money.

Facebook has a voting structure that gives the founders far more rights than other shareholders.

How much money do they make?
Facebook made a profit of  $10.2 billion  in 2016,  up 177%  on 2015. Its total advertising income was almost  $27 billion.

But Facebook only turned its first profit in 2009.

Snapchat, which is spending a lot of money on explaining its user base, made a net loss of  $515 million  in 2016   -up on the  $373 million  it lost in 2015.

Where does the income from?
Both companies make their money from advertising at the expense of traditional advertising markets such as  newspapers  and  TV.

Snapchat has tried to differentiate itself from Facebook by not allowing adverts targeted directly at users interests or browsing history.

Facebook's advertising is sold entirely by computer program.

Advertisers can visit  ads-facebook.com,  plug in payment information and create an advert.

These ads can be targeted as narrowly or broadly as the advertiser desires, and can be billed in a variety of ways, from paying a flat fee for every thousand views to payments per click, per like and more.

Where are they based?
Facebook's huge headquarters in  Silicon Valley's Menlo Park has a  ''green roof'' the size of  seven American football pitches.

The company employs more than  17,000  people across the world.

Snapchat has headquarters on  Venice Beach, Los Angeles, where it has been based since it started in  Spiegel's  dad's  house.

From there, it has slowly eaten up available properties on  Venice Beach, turning beach front condos into offices and  restaurants and cafeterias to service its growing army of staff.

With respectful dedication to the Leaders, Students, professors and Teachers of the world. See Ya all on !WOW!  -the World Students Society and Twitter-!E-WOW!  -the Ecosystem 2011:
