Italy's 16 year old striker Pietro Pallegri is breaking the records in top flight Italian Football, Serie A and now being chased by top clubs of the world.
Last December he made his Serie A debut for Genoa, aged 15 years and 280 days, equaling the record of Amedeo Amadei as the youngest ever Serie A debutant. On 28 May, he scored his first Serie A goal becoming the first player born in 2001 to ever score in Serie A.
On 17 September he scored a double against Lazio in a 3-2 defeat. That made him the only 16-year old to score twice in a major European league game.
Pietro's father and Genoa assistant coach, Marco Pellegri was reduced to tears witnessing his son's performance.

According to BBC, Manchester United also tried to sign him in 2015 but the Pellegris declined.
Beppe Marotta, the general manager of Juventus, also claims he first tried to sign Pietro two years ago "when nobody" knew him.
Pellegri says his main idol is Zlatan Ibrahimovic and also hailed him as the best striker in the world.
