Police Rescue 4-Year-Old Victim Of Sex Abuse After Mother Recognize Her Images On Dark Web

German Police have arrested the sexual abuser and identified the 4-year-old victim after her mother recognized the images released by police.

Police were disturbed by the content found on the dark web and decided to release some of the images in public as a desperate effort to identify the victim.

The suspect abuser was also identified by the mother. He is a 24-year-old man from Lower Saxony and is now in custody.

Chief Prosecutor Georg Ungefuk, from the Central Office for Combating Cyber Crime, said: ‘He [the abuser] is a German citizen. The man is being questioned. The girl is also German and four years old. He was arrested in an apartment by state police.’

According to the police the child suffered "serious sexual abuse" between October last year and July this year.

The girl is now in the care of child psychiatrists.
