FIFTH GENERATION WARFARE
SIR :
In the current era, global leaders have forsaken conventional warfare in favor of '' Fifth Generation Warfare ''.
Every state is well aware of the Nuclear capabilities of other states.
They are cognizant if the devastation that could take place if Nuclear weapons are ever used, Should a large conventional war ever take place, the likelihood of a Nuclear confrontation is very, very high.
The subsequent destruction could destroy the planet.
Fifth generation warfare on the other hand, minimizes these risks. It is quiet obvious that Afghanistan is being used for regional and global powers as a battle ground to secure their geopolitical interests.
In the same way, the apprehension of Indian spy in Baluchistan is another lucid example that fifth warfare is in full swing. India cannot use nukes against Pakistan as Pakistan itself is a nuclear state.
The US on the other hand uses innovative technology for cyber warfare and to accumulate data from all over the world.
The more advanced a state is technologically, they more success they are likely to have in this new form of warfare.
China has raised the issue of Cyber security at the United Nations [UN], but since the United Nations [UN] is a American cat's paw, it has not taken any stringent steps in this regard.
