Messi Hits 100 Champions League Goals Landmark

Barcelona forward Lionel Messi scored double in Champions League win over Chelsea to become only the second and the fastest player to score 100 goals in the Champions League.

Messi took 123 games for the century with the leading scorer Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored 117 goals in the competition, took the 144 games to reach the mark.

Barcelona beat Chelsea 3-0 on Wednesday at Camp Nou, to qualify for the last-eight for a record-extending 11th straight time.

Messi scored the first at 128 seconds, his fastest goal for Barcelona, and then assisted an amazing pass after a pacy run for Ousmane Dembele's first goal for the club. His second goal became his 100th in the Champions League and all for Barcelona.
