*PRESIDENT OF PAKISTAN ADDRESSES STUDENTS*

The President advised the students to : *Try understanding the modern world.*

ISLAMABAD : The President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain said that students and youth have a very important role in the-

National development and they should prepare themselves to deal with the challenges of the future:

''Therefore, they should study more and more to understand the modern world and the new social,  political and economic trends,'' he added.

Talking to the students of a Cadet College. the president emphasised that the objective of national development can only be achieved if students and young generation fully dedicate themselves for this purpose.

He underscored that the study of natural sciences is very important in the current era because future belongs to the scientific development and inventions.

''In addition to this attention should also be paid to on the study of social sciences,'' he added.

He underlined that the promotion and protection of our cultural and social values especially poetry and literature should also be included in priority.

President Mamnoon highlighted that new opportunities are emerging after the start of China-Pakistan Economic Corriidor [CPEC] :

''The youth should immediately start preparing themselves to take full advantage from these opportunities,'' he maintained.

He expressed pleasure that this Cadet College was fully participating in curricular and extra-curricular activities.
