HOTTEST DAY RECORDED

Nawabshah, Pakistan, has posted hottest April day ever in the World on the recorded history. A scorching 50.2 degrees Centigrade (122.4 °F), hit the city on 30th April.

According to Accuweather data, the city of 1.1 million people crossed 45 °C (113 °F) every day for the last 7 days of the month.

Only two times any record has shown the temperatures to cross 45 °C, once last year in Larkana, Pakistan and once in 1998 in Aquismon, Mexico.

Climate change is having a strong felt effect on South Asia and Pakistan. In June 2015, More than 1000 people died in 5 days of heat wave.

According to a Foreign Policy study, Pakistan's biggest threat is climate change not terrorism.
