AI & The Future Of News

Dear Hussain, Generative AI is changing the way we produce and consume news.

As we navigate a fast-evolving future, Reuters will be hosting a summit called Momentum AI in San Jose on July 16-17, which will explore commercial use cases for generative AI. As part of this event, Reuters News Agency will hold a parallel event on July 16 titled ‘ AI and the Future of News’.

Led by Reuters Head of AI Strategy, the exclusive gathering will host leaders from news and technology organizations. It will feature roundtable discussions led by Reuters, The New York Times, and The Washington Post. These discussions will delve into the impact of generative AI on future journalism, examining its dual role as both a potential threat and a significant opportunity for newsrooms.

Additionally, the event will exclusively unveil the latest research on AI and the Future of News from the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism. We will also host interactive sessions with our Reuters executive leadership.
