The recent declaration of results for lectureship positions by SINDH PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION [ SPSC] has raised serious concerns.
It's both surprising and disappointing to see some candidates securing 85 out of 100 in interview even though they have only secured 35 out of 100 in the written exam.
HOW is it possible that a person unable to cross 40 in the written exam achieves 85 marks in an interview?
Moreover, there are candidates who scored 75 or more in the written exam, but could pass the second stage.
Such discrepancies have put a question mark on the credibility of the SPSC which is leaving no stone unturned to exacerbate the challenges faced by the meritorious and hardworking candidates.
To ensure merit and transparency, I suggest that either the interview stage of the exam is done away with or the whole exercise is carried out under the supervision of any private organisation.
The World Students Society thanks Saqib Jamali.
